Leading Data Management company, Asystec were awarded with Marketing Campaign of the year in front of a packed house at the VMware awards in London last night.
The company was honoured amongst a host of VMware’s top UK and Ireland Partners for excellence in Marketing and was the only Irish company to be recognised on the night.
The campaign which began last year was centered around VMware’s NSX technology. NSX is the network virtualisation platfom for the SDDC. It embeds networking and security functionality that is typically handled in the hardware directly into the hypervisor. It delivers the operational model of a virtual machine for networking and security and unlocks the ability for IT to move at the speed of business.
Speaking at the awards, Lorne Chedzey (SDDC Sales Manager) said ‘At VMworld 2015 Asystec officially launched their dedicated VMware team that would enable us to provide innovative technology services to customers looking to transition to the modern era of IT infrastructure. This team has played a fundamental role in the success of the NSX Marketing campaign, so for them I was thrilled to see their efforts being recognised by VMware. Asystec has four offices throughout Ireland and the UK and continues to grow year on year.
