Les, together with Brendan McPhillips, founded Asystec in 2011 following 20 years industry experience including working for EMC. Starting with a team of just 3 people, Les has steered the company to the success it is today with over 50 employees across Europe and North America.
Brendan, a co-founder of Asystec, has over twenty year’s experience of the IT industry. Brendan’s current focus is on Data Compliance, Governance and Security across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
With over 20 years’ experience, Aonghus joined Asystec in 2014 as Sales Director. Responsible for the overall sales within Asystec, Aonghus also manages the strategic direction of the VMware and Renewals business units and is responsible for running our Dublin and UK business areas.
Brett is the MD of Asystec DMS in North America. With over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry he joined Asystec in 2018 to buildout our global expansion into North America, leveraging his industry experience and relationships with large global accounts.
Kevin was one of the earliest additions to Asystec having joined in 2012 as part of the Technical Function. His role has evolved over time and he now plays an integral role in managing and growing Services in the organisation as well as leading the charge in streamlining operations.
Ryan has been with Asystec for over 5 years. Starting out as a technical resource following over 13 years in Capita, Ryan joined the management team 3 years ago and now spearheads a growing team of 15. Ryan is the link between technical, sales and back office teams.
Sophi has been in IT Business Development roles for 25+ years including channel, regional sales and product management in Ireland, Europe and North US for some of the world’s leading vendors and channel. Customer focus and building partnerships are personal focuses.
John has over 13 years’ experience designing, deploying and managing End User Computing (EUC) technologies, focusing mainly on the Citrix, VMware and Microsoft stacks, but also on emerging third-party EUC technologies.
An expert in Architecting Solutions for challenges for both Enterprise and Commercial customers leveraging the latest technologies from VMware and Dell EMC. Victor brings a balance of nearly 20 years industry experience and extensive Vendor Solution and Product Certifications.
Eoin has been with Asystec since 2017. He is a specialist in Enterprise SAN technologies with a long background in professional services across the entire Dell EMC storage portfolio.
Ciaran is a senior Professional Services consultant with fifteen years’ experience focused on the Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) – vSphere, vSAN, NSX, the vRealize Suite and emerging cloud and automation technologies.
Robert is an infrastructure engineer with many years of experience designing and deploying server and virtualization infrastructure. A VMware and server hardware specialist, Robert is a vSAN and VxRail advocate.
Carmen is a certified Project manager with more than 15 years’ experience in the IT industry. Having previously worked in Dell EMC she has extensive partner knowledge from storage to CRM, project management and escalations for IT services.
Peter is a Senior Security and Data Governance Consultant and is in his 8th year with Asystec. He has led large scale solution deployments in a multitude of clients ranging from SMEs up to Global Enterprise clients.
Martin joined the security team in 2017. He’s a technical expert in security and networking. He has worked extensively on many projects and established great relationships with clients.
Michael studied Information Technology and Telecommunications. He has worked in multiple technical support jobs before joining Asystec in 2015 as a member of the security team. His role has seen him involved in many large projects with multiple customers.
Jason is an infrastructure engineer who has worked in the IT sector for the last 20 years in roles such as desktop, production, server, network and telecoms deployment & support. He currently deploys and manages the entire Asystec IT estate.
Lucas is an expert in Systems Integration with extensive experience developing & managing IT applications. His mission is to help continuously improve Asystec Operations and bring agility to Engineering, Sales and Management teams.
Mark is a Project Manager with 15 years’ experience working in large multi-nationals across the Technology and Food & Beverage sectors. He has trained with the Project Management Institute and has a Degree in Business Studies & Marketing from Limerick IT.
With Asystec since 2012, Stephen has been installing and supporting storage systems since 1996 having worked for both OEMs & service organisations gaining a broad breadth of experience in all things SAN related.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, François has an expertise into Datacentre technologies. With a specialisation in Virtualisation and Networking, François has all the knowledge to build an entire Cloud environment.
Laura studied Business in LIT and was also a qualified Resource Teacher before jumping into the world of Project Management. She has over 10 years industry experience, and worked with vendor Symantec prior to joining Asystec in 2016.
Matthew is a highly qualified technologist with experience in multiple operating systems, application and infrastructure servers and programming languages. He has expertise in system administration, capacity planning, application development and release engineering.
Shay is a IT Professional with over 30 years industry experience gained in Technical Lead, Consultancy or Solutions Architect roles. Shay is primarily focused on the design and implementation of Enterprise Data Management, Backup, Archive and Disaster Recovery solutions for clients.
Iain is an experienced Consulting, Services and Programme Director who has held senior roles across Tier 1 Multinationals and Small to Medium Enterprises alike. He has studied and worked widely across Europe and the USA.
Having worked in the IT sector from a very young age Olivier had his own IT company in France for 6 years before moving to Ireland. Since then he has worked for Microsoft, VMware, and the CICR.
While a relatively new addition to the Asystec DMS North America team, Matt has 20 years of IT experience and has worked with a variety of hardware and software solutions. He will lead our engineering team in North America.
Colm is a Technical Architect specialising in Server Based Computing and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. He has 15 years’ experience in support, design & implementation of these solutions and many related technologies in this field.
Lorne joined Asystec in 2016 after working in VMware and Dell for 15 years combined. Lorne has 24 years’ experience in the IT sector, with an extensive background in Cloud and SDDC technology.
With 20 years industry experience John heads up the Asystec Software-defined Datacentre (SDDC) solutions business unit. Managing a team of 6 sales and Pre-sales team members his key focus is on the VMware suite of technologies delivering IaaS, SDDC/HCI and Digital Workspace solutions.
Rachel joined Asystec in January 2018 after 5 years in VMware. Rachel is passionate about assisting customers transform their businesses through IT. She holds particular expertise in optimising commercial agreements.
Jonathan works with our customer’s articulating and evangelizing our technology solutions. By understanding our customers business and technical requirements, Jonathan designs solutions working as a thought leader and trusted adviser.
With a combination of 6 years’ experience in client success management and sales, Joelle is centered on building relationships with customers and understanding their business to find the perfect technical solutions for their unique needs.
Since graduating from DCU Alana has had a diverse range of work experience. She enjoys Asystec entrepreneurial spirit and the freedom to put forward new ideas. Alana enjoys figuring out how to streamline processes and considers attention to detail as one of her strongest attributes.
With a background in Sales and Marketing and a keen eye for detail, Sinéad found that Asystec Renewals Department was a perfect fit for her. Sinéad enjoys helping customers transform how they manage their key data assets to ease the over all management of their IT environments.
Arthur has worked in I.T sales for over 10 years dealing with mid to large enterprise customers and supporting them to achieve their business goals at commercially viable levels with the introduction of secure, automated, enterprise grade and scalable solutions.
Emer studied Event Management, PR & Business in Galway. She has lots of experience in the service industry having worked both in the hospitality sector and engineering sector. Emer is a digital marketing and content creation enthusiast.
Pamela is an experienced Marketing Professional with 10 years in the IT Industry. She studied Digital Marketing with skills in Event Management. Joining Asystec in 2015, she has a strong relationship with both clients and partners alike
Katie has been with the company since its inception in 2011 and was the first employee hired by the founders. Originally Office Manager, HR and Accounting all in one, Katie now heads up the Finance department in Asystec.
Natalia joined the growing Asystec Finance team in 2018. With over 15 years in the financial administration field to date, she brings great experience to her role.
With over 15 years’ experience in finance and business administration, Amanda joined team Asystec in February 2015. Her attention to detail and superb organisation skills, combined with her numerical prowess make her a perfect fit for the Finance department.
Tara has over 10 years’ experience in Human Resources. She works closely with the MD & management team to drive company initiatives & support employee growth. Tara also has previous experience from sectors such as aviation, retail & healthcare.
Alison has over 10 years of PA and Admin experience. She is passionate about enabling procedural efficiency and looks forward to implementing new administrative processes at Asystec as we continue to expand as an organisation.
With over 16 years’ experience Karen has gained significant knowledge in the corporate world. With Asystec for over 4 years, her organisation and attention to detail make her the ideal bid management specialist.
Louise joined Asystec in 2017 and brings a diverse range of administrative experience to the role of Office Manager. She also provides sales support to the Sales Team.
Regan joined the North America team in 2019 to help with office management and sales operations. She enjoys building her interpersonal skills while being a resource for the sales, marketing and technical teams.
